For most dogs, living in a human world is challenging, confusing and hard to maneuver through. Dogs are creatures of habit. They love familiarity and routine. They will create their own etiquette if not given the opportunity to learn in a fun and rewarding way. Dogs are happiest when life can be navigated safely without fear, but can become stressed and destined to exhibit unwanted behaviors if not correctly motivated. Teaching you dog what’s expected of him should be FUN for both of you! Learning to communicate with each other will be enjoyable and rewarding!

New Dog Orientation
Hi. I'm Kim Spyridon, the owner of Two Tails Up, LLC™ in-home dog training service. Picking the right dog trainer is an important decision and there are many dog training options out there. I am an experienced dog trainer and would love to be of service to you and your furry friend, whether newly acquired or one whom has been with you for awhile!
My story isn’t much different from many people who decided to go into dog training. I have loved animals since I was able to crawl. As a kid I was always trying to bring home stray or abandoned dogs. Our home always had a menagerie of pets – dogs, hamsters, birds, reptiles. I once told my parents that I wished they were horses so I would be a horse too! Kids say the darndest things! I also dreamt of being a veterinarian but never pursued it.
So many years and careers later, I finally embarked on a journey to become a professional dog trainer. I became a fan of Victoria Stillwell and knew I did not want to learn just any style of dog training, only the kindest method possible! Positive reinforcement is what I wanted to learn and a door opened for me to get professional training in a dog training career.
I’ve been training dogs and puppies now for eight years and love it! I love watching a dog catch on and the seeing a pet parent get so excited over what their pup just learned. I love giving a family hope that the dog they’ve come to love can change and be a joy to live with. I love to see the bonding of a human and a dog in action! Dogs are incredible creatures. There’s not another animal on earth like them. They need our loving patience and kindness. Learning how to communicate with them is so wonderful and rewarding!
I have owned and worked with dogs my entire life and would love the opportunity to become your furry family member's second best friend! I am a Certified Trainer with Behavior Buddies and a graduate of Karen Pryor Academy's Clicker Training Fundamentals. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and am certified in force-free, science-based dog training, so I can practice your dog's cues and refine behavior skills while spending time with your pup during our training sessions.
Finally, Two Tails Up, LLC™ is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business and a proud member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and the Pet Professional Guild. The Pet Professional Guild is a membership organization representing pet industry professionals who are committed to positive reinforcement, force-free training and pet care. As a Pet Professional Guild member, we understand force-free to mean that No Shock, No Pain, No Choke, No Fear, No Physical Force, and No Compulsion Based Methods are ever employed to train a dog or puppy.

If your dog has been through a training program, I will reinforce the things they have already learned. If not, I will access what behaviors need to be worked on for your dog.
