For most dogs, living in a human world is challenging, confusing and hard to maneuver through. Dogs are creatures of habit. They love familiarity and routine. They will create their own etiquette if not given the opportunity to learn in a fun and rewarding way. Dogs are happiest when life can be navigated safely without fear, but can become stressed and destined to exhibit unwanted behaviors if not correctly motivated. Teaching you dog what’s expected of him should be FUN for both of you! Learning to communicate with each other will be enjoyable and rewarding!

New Dog Orientation
Hi. I'm Kim Spyridon, the owner of Two Tails Up, LLC™ in-home dog training service. Picking the right dog trainer is an important decision and there are many dog training options out there. I am an experienced dog trainer and would love to be of service to you and your furry friend, whether newly acquired or one whom has been with you for awhile!
My story isn’t much different from many people who decided to go into dog training. I have loved animals since I was able to crawl. As a kid I was always trying to bring home stray or abandoned dogs. Our home always had a menagerie of pets – dogs, hamsters, birds, reptiles. I once told my parents that I wished they were horses so I would be a horse too! Kids say the darndest things! I also dreamt of being a veterinarian but never pursued it.
So many years and careers later, I finally embarked on a journey to become a professional dog trainer. I became a fan of Victoria Stillwell and knew I did not want to learn just any style of dog training, only the kindest method possible! Positive reinforcement is what I wanted to learn and a door opened for me to get professional training in a dog training career.
I’ve been training dogs and puppies now for eight years and love it! I love watching a dog catch on and the seeing a pet parent get so excited over what their pup just learned. I love giving a family hope that the dog they’ve come to love can change and be a joy to live with. I love to see the bonding of a human and a dog in action! Dogs are incredible creatures. There’s not another animal on earth like them. They need our loving patience and kindness. Learning how to communicate with them is so wonderful and rewarding!
I have owned and worked with dogs my entire life and would love the opportunity to become your furry family member's second best friend! I am a Certified Trainer with Behavior Buddies and a graduate of Karen Pryor Academy's Clicker Training Fundamentals. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and am certified in force-free, science-based dog training, so I can practice your dog's cues and refine behavior skills while spending time with your pup during our training sessions.
Finally, Two Tails Up, LLC™ is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business and a proud member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and the Pet Professional Guild. The Pet Professional Guild is a membership organization representing pet industry professionals who are committed to positive reinforcement, force-free training and pet care. As a Pet Professional Guild member, we understand force-free to mean that No Shock, No Pain, No Choke, No Fear, No Physical Force, and No Compulsion Based Methods are ever employed to train a dog or puppy.

Hi Kim! Wanted to send a quick update on how well Marlo did during all the family and graduation events we held in our home over last weekend. She was amazing!! She stayed out of people’s faces, didn’t jump on anyone and wasn’t a danger to older grandparents or even our grandchildren. She is a totally better dog and easy to have around. Everyone loved her. Thank you for your help in training her. We are thrilled with the results.Rock Hill, SC
Hi Kim. I wanted to send you a quick note of thanks as Rosie is like her old self again! So thank you for knowing dogs way better then we did and guiding us to do the right thing to rebuild her confidence. As a bonus, the girl even shed a few pounds (lol). She is still eating via puzzles. Most days her walks are much more pleasant. She goes out at night on her own four feet (woohooo). We are working on the car and she now hangs out in the car in the garage. She’s happier and healthier and her command list is growing. I’m still working with her daily ... she’s a smart girl! So pat yourself on the back, we have a win over here (lol)! And thank you again from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ Susan & RosieTega Cay, SC
A new puppy has it’s challenges, but Kim’s sessions helped right away. She was very informative in explaining her techniques and they immediately grabbed the attention of our Winnie and had her responding to commands right way! Our only regret is that we wish we had started sooner!Tega Cay, SC
Mischievous cute toddlers, I mean Boston Terriers ...Fort Mill, SC
No problem! Practicing come, wait, off and go to your place with Kim has really made a difference! Kim is an experienced and knowledgeable dog lover who makes learning fun! Thanks Kim!
I love my 2 furbabies. They are large and bullish, and can be a bit to handle. I have used a K9 organization before. But Kim Spyridon can handle my babies gently and with love and bonding, getting their attention and helping them understand. I highly recommend her dog services.Tega Cay, SC
Kim is the most professional animal sitter I've encountered. She has multiple certifications, and is competent in her field. Because she exemplifies caring toward animals in a way that is compassionate, and kind, I feel complete trust in her, with my fur babies. She communicates in a way that is warm. I trust her and highly recommend her for anyone who is considering care for your whole family.Tega Cay, SC
We used Kim to take care of Jagger our Newfoundland dog and she was fabulous! She sent daily pictures of him and made reports of his well being and eating as it was his first time alone. We could not have been more pleased and the assurance she offered helped our vacation become even more enjoyable. We would not hesitate to recommend Kim’s services to anyone and will most certainly be calling on her again. Thank you so much!Fort Mill, SC
Kim was fantastic with our elderly small dog! She took the time to meet and greet with her before we left town, she made sure our girl had her medications on time and met all of her needs. She also made great suggestions and was thoughtful and careful when she was with her. She even gave us updates and pictures after each visit to keep our minds at ease! Thank you Kim! We will be forever customers!Tega Cay, SC
Two Tails Up took care of my special needs cat with diabetes over the Thanksgiving holiday. I cannot say enough good things about the service, the caring people, or the fact that I had no concerns whatsoever about the welfare of my cats. We have really needed a business like this in the area for a very long time. I highly recommend and will continue to recommend them to everyone with a pet.Lake Wylie, SC
Absolutely the best! Kim was nothing short of amazing. Our first time leaving our dogs and we were extremely nervous. We were updated every visit and sent photos of our pups.Rock Hill, SC
Awesome Awesome!! Love the passion and total love that they have for our Milo - What a wonderful team they have !!! They are more than important to us! They are a true lifeline!Rock Hill, SC
Very reliable. I get pictures everyday. My dogs and their area is clean and I can see they were well cared for. They get exercise and hugs.Rock Hill, SC
I was very impressed by the services professionalism and genuine love of my dog. I felt totally comfortable with giving them access to my home and trusted that they would take care of my pet while I was away. I will be recommending to my friends.Fort Mill, SC
Incredible care was given to our mini schnauzer while we were away for a week. We were so worried about finding a sitter for her. She has been by our side 24/7 for the past year and a half and we were concerned with how she would do away from us for an extended period. Two Tails Up didn’t disappoint. This business is top notch. Kim and Jenny are the best!Fort Mill, SC
