Did your perfect little puppy that you brought home a few months or years ago somehow suddenly turn into a terror? Or did he seemingly overnight become afraid of even his own shadow? Is he still afraid of car rides or a bath no matter what tactic you’ve tried to ease him into tolerating, or maybe even liking, the activity?
A dog's mental maturity is similar to a 3 to 5 year-old child. If left on it’s own, it will find ways to entertain, pacify, or sooth itself that often will result in an unwanted habitual behavior. If you’re not familiar with dog behavior, some training strategies can actually be counter productive and downright harmful to your dog. Yet even the correct approaches many times need trial and error attempts before finding a good solution. There is no timeframe or limit or promises when it comes to addressing dog behavior problems. Sometimes it’s like going to your doctor and the answer you get can be a “Let’s give it a try and see”.
I want you to know that my goal is not only to help your dog and your relationship with him, but that I’ll also be an advocate for the one in that relationship that truly has no say over it’s own life. This means that, foremost, when approaching any behavior problem, I will seek to uncover the triggers causing the unwanted behavior. Dogs come into this world perfect, unless they have medical problems, and we can have a tendency to unintentionally mess them up at times. With this training package we will meet once a week for an hour session for 5 consecutive weeks. My goal of our training sessions will be to put you both back on the right track so you can enjoy life with each other! All Services Testimonials Rates
